Default 404 unimog axles on 69 t/a??

HI All??

I want to put front and rear MB 404 disk/1 ton axles of my
69 T/A. are these good axles ?? How hard is the converision?
304 engine/d19 man. tranny./

the 404 portal axles has 19.5 inches of ground clearance w/39 tire.

AKA " Sage Apocalypse"
it may be ugly , but it will get me to hell and back!

sounds like a idea, and i would love to see the progress of it on here if you do it. have no experiece with these axles tho, so i cant offer an opinion.

I don't have any experience with these and probably not many here do. You might try the Pirate. These guys are a little ruthless but some might be willing to help. Good luck.

Scott!!!!!!! Great to see you here. I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth until you showed up at the Christmas party.

Do you already have the axles? Sounds like an awsome project. But your truck would need a new name. Perhaps TravelMog?
