Default Small Alternator pulley

I have just about finished my wiring upgrade for my 135 amp alternator, on my 1978 Scout 11 345ci. The last piece of the puzzle is a smaller alternator pulley. There are part #s in the faq, but they are old, and discontinued. Has anyone recently done the same upgrade with the smaller pulley. If so, what did you use, and where did you get it from. Has anyone out there got one to sell me..

I've posted this before, but here it is again.

Alternator Pulleys

Here's some material on double pulleys that can be used on the Delco alternators (10si, 12si, 15si and 17si) that can be used or found on IH vehicles. The "Lester Number" is kind of a universal parts number for automotive electronic components. Most auto parts stores, especially specialty houses, can cross reference a Lester No. to their propriety parts number. So long as the bore diameter is 0.670" you can use the pulley. The multiple Lester Nos. below just indicate that there is more than one application for that pulley size. I've been using the smaller Ford double belt pulley, a little easier to find in junkyards as it was used on a lot of Ford trucks to run the air pump off of the alternator.

Delco double pulley used on International Harvester vehicles
Lester No.: 1852856 ??
Bore Diameter: 0.670"
Outside Diameter: 4.37"

Lester Nos.: 7122, 7122, 7127, & 7145
Bore Diameter: 0.670"
Outside Diameter: 2.81"

Ford double pulley
Lester Nos.: 7701, 7704, 7705, & 7716
Bore Diameter: 0.670"
Outside Diameter: 3.31"

Lester Nos.: 7084, 7088, 7716, 7723, & 7738
Bore Diameter: 0.670"
Outside diameter: 2.56"

Bore diameter: 0.670"
Outside diameter: 2.95"

If you don't find anything of the correct diameter/belt size, there's always some of the rebuilders - used to be Ace Electric in Phoenix that was a supplier to rebuilders, but the parent company went Chapter 11 so I'm not sure of the status of the locals - other than that there's WAI (another supplier) but they're in L.A., so hopefully something more local will pan out. 670 bore pulleys are very common, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle!!

you might look into a GM model. i got a gm 1 wire alternator (140 amp) that came with a smaller pulley that the stock one, but it was only a single pulley set up. it was made by powermaster.

Don't forget that if you run a dbl pulley alt > you need the correct crank & water pump pulleys too. Gets kinda crowded if you run PS, smog pump & AC too.
