Angry Now I'm REALLY PIZZED

Remember the 2 weeks that the body shop was going to have my Scout? Well, yesterday was 5 weeks. It was to be picked up last night. I went to get it, and they didn't have the grill in, yet. Come to find out that the NEW grill I got from Super Scout is nearly an inch too long to fit between the fenders. Once 3 people wedge it in (one pulling each fender out, one putting the grill in), the parking light panel is an inch too short to fill in the gap between the fenders.
Looks like I'll be bumming a ride to Springfield, now. No way to get it done in time for me to get my other stuff done to it. It needs a rear main, tires, I gotta take an add-a-leaf out of the back, still needs carpet, cleaned up, etc, etc. And I don't really trust my other Scout to go that far. The engine let go in 2000 on the way out there. I guess I could trailer it out, but I'm kinda out of the notion, if you know what I mean. I wanted to take the black one this time. Sorry...I had to vent somewhere. See some of you guys at Springfield.

Unhappy Sorry Mike

Too bad the new grill didn't fit. That's a shame. You gonna make it work or return it?

Mike,

That's bad! What, these guys don't have a phone? Tell them that it is better to be pizzed off, like you, than to be pizzed on, like they're gonna be.

I called SSS today, and they are aware of the problem. Okay, I'm thinkin'...why tha heck don't you measure them before shipping?! Anyhow, we're gonna swap out at the Nats. I'm gonna haul my brown (Tahitian Red ) Scout out to Ohio. Eddie's driving his.
