Default 6 hole to 5 hole fuel tank sending unit adapter

I just swapped out my gauges and of course my fuel tank sending units are different. I knew that going in to this. However, poking around on speedway motors I came across this 6 hole sending unit to five hole sending unit adapter. It is for 1935 - 56 ford car or pickups. I was wondering if this would work for the scout 800 side tanks.

Adapter plate is 3-1/4" O.D.
Center hole is 2-3/4" I.D.
5-hole mounting pattern for new style sending unit has one spacing at 1.38" and the remaining four at 1.25"
6-hole spacing going clockwise is 1-9/16", 1-3/16", 1-7/16", 1-3/16", 1-7/16", 1-5/16" for the stock type pattern
Comes with six screws and gasket for the adapter and five screws for the new sending unit

here is the link from speedway:,5865.html

Dunno..but you can disassemble the sender and use your old mounting plate with the new guts on it.
