That "washer" is also known as a "keeper" and NAPA has them. Sorry, I don't have the part number. They come two to a box. I ordered two keepers and got two boxes but the extras have already dissappeared into the maw of fellow club members.

Why replace bearings unless pitted or otherwise damaged?

Do replace the hub grease seal: RA15 hub seal CR33073 / National 456292SSR

When you pull the hub off, the 'ring' holding the rear bearing in is a grease seal.
