Default Crewcabs?

I tried to find general info on the internet about Internationals Crewcab line but was unsuccessful.

What years did International make the truck in a Crewcab?

What models were they?

Were they all 4x4's?

Thanks....

First off in the IH world they are called a Travelette . And i think the earliest model I have seen was a 58 or 59. They are quite uncommon from then and are way more common in the 60's and 70's and offered until truck production stopped in 1975. They were offered in both two and four wheel drive. They were made in all trim levels and weight ratings and had multiple wheelbases up to 164".

Mine is a '64 1200c AWD PTO short bed. Tuck and roll upholstery, factory rock guards. Engine upgraded to sv345 Holley quad, 12" clutch, 4 speed, Eaton full floater,
Detroit lockers, 4:10 gears. It loves to hunker down and pull out dead trees and stumps with a choke chain.

The 4 door ones started in 61, the earlier ones had only 3 doors, 2 on the passenger side.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I thought the crew cab was basically a pickup cab with extra doors on the rear and could have a box or utitily type bady mounted on the back. Also had varies wheel bases

The Travelette was based entirely on the Travelall platform and had a wheel base of 119 inches along with "bed" side that were actually part of the cab and the tailgate was a modified Travelall tailgate.

Both trucks could come in either 4X2 or 4X4.
