Default lock cylinder right way wrong way

me and my skillful mechanic friend matt pulled the wheel no problem, lock plate no problem, lock cylinder ouch. wrong way 3 hours .

right way 3 minutes theres a small recess area next to the top turnsignal screw just drill 1/4 in hole lightly through plastic dont hit cylinder. yellow arrow shows right spot to punch out or drill hope this saves someone a headache like i have now.

why not do it the right way? per service manual push a small screwdriver in to release tab and pull lock cyl. out, then it will just snap right back in.
