Default Replacement 727 Transmission Question

Found a 74 Scout II for sale w/345 engine but no tranny - owner said it had once had an automatic transmission. If it was the Torque-Flite 727, would a replacement have to be one specifically from a Scout or would any 727 from a similar vintage Dodge or Chrysler fit?

What he said, too bad I'm so far, I probably have five or six here that I'll never need....but there are guys closer to you that are crazy too, so I'm sure if you post up a 'wanted' ad somebody will come through for you.
