Default 345 to 4L80E adapter?

Is there an adapter for this set up or one coming down the line?

Have you ever been to IHONLY North? Both manual and auto OD trannys are supported there.
A 4L80E is the same GM bell pattern as every other GM trans (TH-350, 400, 700R4, 4L60E, etc).

The first adapter for the 4l80e is being installed as we speak.
It is going in Gravediggers 62 travelette with the MPFI in the injection forum.

Best of all worlds.

Once we have confirmation that the first install went without any issues we will start selling the kit for the 4L80E. As of now it's basically going to be the same kit with additional holes drilled in the torque convertor adapter portion of the kit to match up to the torque convertor of the 4L80E. So in the end one kit will cover all versions(if we find nothing else needs to be changed).

Great News! Looks like just the adapter and harness to buy and a crossmember(s) to fab up.

Any idea on the difference in total length of this install vs. a BW11? Just thinking of the shortening/lengthening of the intermediate shaft and if I can keep my TC in the stock location if using a 2WD Trans.

Jeff check out your Facebook page, I posted up the War Wagon build. I think we need to get you guys on the sponsor list!!

It should fit as the 4l80e is only 31'' or so long with tail housing. Plus what ever the adapter thickness is.

Should be well worth it to swap in!

Might just help the "Keep the IH powerplant" question steering toward yes on the War Wagon.

I am keeping mine in my travelette! Added the TBI and now its a different truck!

I have been thinking about swapping in a 4l80e for an auto and overdrive and to use an LSx motor later. But if I swap to an auto my wife can drive it and she will want to!!! Which is not good.
