Default Clean way to mount GM spark coil

I figured out this weekend that if you take some 3/4" square stock from HD, and cut it down to length (measurement escapes me, but width of coil + space for the 3/8 bolt) then cut it along its length, the bottom transformer core will fit nicely inside. Drill some holes for across to secure the coil to the mounting (#8screws). Then you'll want to eliminate the walls for where the 3/8 bolt goes. I left a little wall material for rigidity, and just ground the sides of a washer flat to fit, then I bolt it all together and into the old bolt hole for the spark coil.

EDIT: pics coming.
