Thanks for the great info bill.

I can't say anything really changed lately, except for my timing. I'm running with a new coil now and no problems so far. The first time was after my commute home, quick change of clothes then to the trail. The second time it happened it did it after I got to the trail (no driving earlier that day) So far, it has not come back.

My odds were on the flood scenario, but the coil scenario seems to be gathering more evidence.

The bad coil can cause the flooding sense the ignition module would still send the DRP to the ECM telling it there is ignition but the coil would not be firing. So the ECM will still be firing the injectors with no spark....flooded.

Well since I replaced the coil I have not had a problem, so I'm going to assume that was it.
