Default 74 200 4x4 Parts Truck

I had been driving by this old 74 200 4x4 for about 1 1/2 years now but there was no room to stop my semi. The truck was sitting at an old body shop surrounded by old 50's Hudsons, Lincolns and some old Grand Wagoneers. I found a phone number on line and the owner was willing to sell it. I figured it was rough from the view I had from the road. It was a lot worse than I had hoped. Luckly the price was right. I picked it up for the drive train and I have someone who wants the trim. Let me know if there is anything you might need and I will see if it is there. The trucks stats are 392 4bbl, auto, air, sliding rear window (rusted out), d44, d60, 3.73, the seats have been replaced with some aftermarket captins chairs. The truck only has 39,000 miles but the owner says that it has about 10,000 more going backwards because about all it did was plow snow and jump start cars. The body shop used to be a car lot also and that is where it was almost all of its life. According to the title the po purcased it from the original owner in Feb. of 1978. The truck has about the wost rust I think I have ever seen on one of these. The frame is not bent like it looks in the pictures. The cab is just leaning forward and the bed floor is almost completely missing so the bed is falling backwards. The po had replaced the inner fenders years ago when you could still get them, but the replacements are rusted out also, so it has hardware store strap hinges and you just fold the hood up against the roof. I hope to finish pulling the drive train this weekend and haul it in the next weekend. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

For sure grab the plow frame, they don't make them anymore.

Boy, that's the most beat up IH I have seen in a long time!
Be sure to save ANYTHING you can down to the clips that hold the screws in anywere.

To answer two questions at one time, Carl, It does have power steering. Jeff, I am going to use the axles. I do have another rear Dana 60 and know where there are some others close by. Let me know if you are looking for a 69-73 or a 74-75 and what ratio you were needing.

Todd, would you be willing to pull and ship the complete power steering setup?

I would need the saganaw steering box with the frame mounting brackets pitman arm, drag link, the pump, pump mounting bracket, high pressure hose and the pully system off the engine.

If so PM me with a price I'm located in central OK my zip is 73059

Todd, two things. First, would you part with the plow setup? Second, I am looking for an 8 lug front axle. I have a 4:10 right now, and the 100 I have is only 5 lug. I am wanting to eventually convert my '72 1210 to 4x4. PM me with information. Thanks. Looks to be a great find. Heck if you wanted to part with the transfer case, transfer case mounts and linkages, as well as the driveshafts I might be interested in those too.

Jeff
