Default Lift gate Latch Pin

I tried to find it on search on the forums and struck out on google so maybe someone here has had a run in with one and has the part number to it. It is the pin that attaches to the body for the full rear hatch on a traveler. When I bought my blue beasty it was broken off and now it is annoying me and keeping the rear hatch out of alignment.

If anyone has bought one of these or even has one laying around let me know I need one.

Ok, finially found one on-line. It is a Striker bolt. Scoutparts has them for $99.99, yep I will be heading down to the local homedepot to find an matching bolt and putting heat shrink on the threads. Also here is the IH part number if anyone needs one 342003R1.

Are you sure it's just a bolt? My Traveler has the same strikers for the lift gate that are used with the normal Scout II tailgate. That's why when you want to run a tailgate with the top off, you just move the strikers up to the second location. They are attached through the body with two big machine screws that bolt into a backing plate behind the tailgate housing.

Shouldn't be too tough to find...I think I may have a couple of them.

Well it is not a bolt but we are talking about the same thing. It is for my 77 traveler. I have a feeling i can reproduce the same thing out of the bolt bin in home depot. Thread lock a flat nut on the back to hold it to the plate, and grind down the head abit. Cost me a few bucks and 30 min work. The Pin is what snapped off so i still have factory Plate available for mounting.
