Well...got the axle in the mail yesterday. Unfortunately it was the wrong one. Everything looked good except for the flange diameter. The flange was too small and looked to have a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern instead of 5 on 5.5. That is just strange to me because the man said it was from a '69 scout, but I didn't think scouts came with anything but a 5 on 5.5. Any ideas?

Kinda what I was thinking. I have a offer in on one on eBay. It's not going to be cheap though. $236 with shipping! But my only other option is a custom axle from moser and that's $370. Either way the three year manufacturing on this particular axle length is turning out to be an expensive choice!

Do you need driver or passenger side shaft from the rear axle?

Passenger. But that year model is a centered pumpkin so either side should work.

I might have one but I will have to consult with my advisor Heavy T, the pulled pork nacho annihilator. How much Lone Star Light would this thing be worth to ya?

I need to check out my axle graveyard and see what I have left out there.

I ran into one on eBay. But I really appreciate it. If I ever need another one I'll definitely give ya a shout. It would've been worth at least a couple 39 packs!
