Default spin on oil filter/plug relay ?'s

does anyone know of or have a part number for a spin on oil filter adapter or an auxiliary oil filter mount set up?

also wandering how to wire the glow plug relay set up with individual wires pics or diagrams would be most helpful or a link to a thread that already covered this...i did try the search and didnt get any results..

any comments would be greatly appreciated!
i would like to thank all who reply in advance!

mjolnir, thanks for the link to the spin on oil filter...a little more expensive than i was hoping for...

and comment about not searching right, i just hadnt searched hard enough! thanks for the motivation to search harder.

i think im gonna go with a a ford type starter solenoid and go from the battery to the input side of the solenoid and then on the out put (starter) side im gonna run six heavy duty wires to the individual GPs and use the GP button wire to activate the solenoid.

i think thats an inexpensive solution to my situation.

i may upgrade my GPs to the Y-112's that careywebber has been using and has had no problems with. i know they are a regulated type plug but, if they work for him i should achieve the same result.

im also thinking about running a single plug in my intake for those really cold days as i live in eastern oregon where we see many days and nights in the teens and colder!

id appreciate any ones input on my ideas, positive or negative!

thanks again!!!

Your wiring plans should work fine, you might throw in a breaker right after the battery too.

Yes same idea as a fuse, only then you don't have to carry a spare. not sure on what size you would need, you can search how much the plugs are support to draw.

Here is an address to ones like I am talking about, any parts store would have them.

Thanks Brian, youre the man!!!!!

i just found that the glows pull 8 amps each, thats 48 total so i assume a 50 amp breaker would suffice?

sorry about all the dumb questions im pretty new to wiring, ive done plenty of car stereos and replaced wire buts thats all really easy stuff, ya know has a manual and what not.

thanks again this is by far the best and most helpful forum ive ever been a part of!

well i did it and so far it works waaaayyy better than b4!!!!

i like hearing the solenoid click too makes it feel like its actually doing something! hahaha

i went with a 50 amp breaker and so far its working fine, havent heard the solenoid click off while they are on so it must be fine.

but i will have to get a higher amp breaker when i put the Y-112m1s in it, i wanna be able to after glow cuz she likes to smoke a quite a bit, but im sure thatll start to get better as i drive it more.
