If there's a big nut on the end of the axle shaft, more than likely you will need a puller.

To remove the drum, you need to remove the entire hub. You must pop off the dust cap, remove the nut, and use a tool called a "hub puller" to remove the hub from the tapered axle shaft. There have been several threads where this process has been described in great detail.

Sprayed the studs with deep creep,tapped the sides with a sledge and it came right off,the center hub and the drum are two seperate pieces.Thanx
