Good looking truck, I like the colors, looks like the paint should come out really nice. I look forward to seeing more on your thread.

There are a lot of guys in your area. If you are able to make it to the AutoFair at the speedway, you will meet many more! Truck is looking good!

Looks like your doing allot of nice work to your rig.
I also noticed it looks like it had a nice factory blue underneath.

Here is the video of the first run on the test machine, I had several lifters that were slow to pump up, so there is a lot of clicking noises. I let it sit over night, and they pumped right up. I was by myself this morning and couldnt get a vid of the final run, but with hot oil it did 55psi oil pressure, 175psi compression, no knocks or noises, and good cam breakin with all 16 lifters pumped up and rotating.

Here are the pics taken during the machining and build. My engine didn't need as much work as I expected. I was planning on a bore job and new pistons, but since my pistons and cylinders measured perfect, I just gave it a light hone on the block and light knurl on the pistons to promote skirt oiling. My heads didn't need much work either, just a basic valve job with new seals, and I took the time to surface them on the deck and exhaust sides. Of course with the damage to the rotating assembly all 8 rods had to be re sized, and the crankshaft ground, oil holes chamfered, and micro polished. The long block is re assembled with new main rod and cam bearings, rings, camshaft, lifters, water plugs, and gaskets.
