Default Transmission Lines

I have two lines coming out of my transmission that im pretty sure is a 727 TF. The question is what to do with these lines? They were not connected to anything on my engine when it was running. Also anyone ever heard of a 345 with a exhaust brake or something, what is this?

The lines are for the oil cooler originally incorporated in the radiator and the flap is a part of a system for quicker warming of the engine offering a greater exhaust resistance.

The two lines go to the transmission cooler. Radiator has two bungs on the cold side these go to, or a separate trans cooler, or even both.

The "brake" is a flapper valve that forces the exhaust to run through the intake to warm it in cold weather, passenger side has one the drivers side did not. When closed the exhaust gases run through the "fifth" exhaust port (center port) on the heads, through the passage in the intake manifold, through the drivers side head to the exhaust manifold. This warmed the intake to atomize the fuel better.

Thanks for the replies! I need to try to connect the lines due to hot Texas summers, but does the "brake" or flap need to be connected to run well?
