Default The Official SEBA goes to the Charlotte AutoFair Thread

Its coming up fast this year and with a date change. Thursday April 19th thru Sunday April 22nd at Charlotte Motor Speedway the Hornets Nest AACA presents the Charlotte AutoFair. I hope we have a record number of SEBA rigs in attendance. The parking and show area the Hornets Nest AACA Club has designated for International Scouts and Light Trucks has not changed, it will be just to the right of the main entrance as you enter, right up front as it has been for years.Below are some helpful links for SEBA members.

Official AutoFair Website

Official link to the host hotel with discount code already entered

Link to pre-register your IH with the organization that handles that at the Charlotte AutoFair

I hope as many of you can come out to the AutoFair this year. Its the largest show of its kind in the world and there is more than can be seen in the 4 days it goes on. SEBA needs 3 volunteers to show up Friday AM around 0900 to help the organization that registers IH vehicles for the Charlotte AutoFair setup their tent and awnings. I have agreed to volunteer to help them and we needed 4 , so only 3 more are needed for setup duty. If you can do this, I would appreciate it. Just kindly reply to this thread if you can assist the organization in their setup. That organization charges 35.00 to pre-register to be judged and 30.00 for non judged, but those fees increase after April 8th, so please make note of that.

See ya there.

I have already registered online and have made my hotel reservations. It's going to be me and my Dad this year. Who else is in?

We're coming. Sorry Bruce, we would like to help, but Donna has to work on Thursday and it is much too far of a drive after she gets off work Thursday night. We could probably help with tear down on Sunday though. We havent yet decided which IH is coming yet, so it won't behoove us to register early.

See you all there!

The hotel rates are cheaper if you go to Hilton's web site and prepay for your reservation instead of using the group rate.

I'm there. I'll come in on Thursday night and get some Mexican eatin'...so assuming that I'm not in the bathroom Friday morning, I should be able to help set up, too.

I'll be your last volunteer. There's no work involved right?

Randy, I think that is true, however, thats an unbreakable, cannot be cancelled payment, once you pay whether you show or not you cannot get a refund. I have done that in the past, but there is risk involved.
