Default 2012 Tower Park

I could not find a Tower Park thread so I thought I would start one.
Looks like the doctors say I can go if I am careful.

I have a bunch of M-2-4 parts I would like to put up for sale.
a MU winch take off complete with drive shaft but missing the handle.
The handle is available from Braden I would like to get $600.
A couple of engines
Plenty of axles and housings.
An almost complete truck with a nice but rusty bed.
Combat wheels
A post WWII camo set 2 nets and the bag. $75

Let me know what you need and I will send a pic and pull it for you.

Let me know what you want to pay and I will double or triple it and then we will settle on a price.

This is also a good time to remind all the IHC owners of the IHC showcase. I was looking through an old membership list and there ain't many of us.
That means we give them a real treat of our rare trucks!

Paul,

Do you have any idea how many folks are bringing trucks to Camp Delta (Tower)? I am trying to put together an IHC t-shirt that doesn't directly advertise the event, but it will be a WWII IHC military truck shirt. I would like to have some kind of idea how many shirts to make.

Thanks,
Sean

I have had zero responses to the call for IHC trucks.
So far it is just me.

Thats too bad. I can't get enough time off work to go let alone take a truck if I even had one together to go. It sounded earlier like a half dozen folks were planning it.
Hope the turnout is greater for the show than for the posting.

I guess I will see how many pull up alongside my M-2-4.
I will be there even if I am the only truck!
Nothing embarrasses me!

Take care of yourself.

There is a second chance to do this gathering of International military trucks next year. There will be a USN/USMC vehicle display and it would be good if some of us could plan for that. Also the MVCC is working on doing the 2015 MVPA convention at the Alameda Fair Grounds in Pleasanton Ca.
We should all aim for these two shows there is plenty of time to make it to one of them.
I unfortunately will not have my M5 at Tower Park this year it is not for lack of trying but instead its for lack of hours to put into the truck right now.
I have it running the brakes are done and it goes for rides, the hold up is the bed. I am fabricating a tailgate at this time and still rebuilding the nose section and it is a long drawn out process. What looked like an easy cut and patch has become what I have nicknamed frankenbed.
The weather will become warm soon and I will make more time with the days being longer for the farmers and us IHC collectors it will be much easier to work up to 8:45pm every night with that being sundown in the west.
Hope to see everyone that can make it at Tower. I am bringing a load of stuff.

I have never been to
Tower Park without seeing some IH vehicles.

I'll be there Friday. See if we can find one another.

Several IHISTO guys will be there.
