I won't be able to make it. Not sure how much help I'd be other than helping lift stuff. haha
Work is offering a lot of OT. 20 hrs last week, 34 this week, 32 next and 22 the week after. Gotta get it all! Scout takes a backseat for now, but it'll get a lot of love soon with the extra money. Also, we are slowly working on cleaning up our place so we can host a wrench day in the not too distant future. I'll keep y'all posted.

Plan as of right now is meeting with Davis and heading to the yard Saturday morning for some Scout work and maybe a little scrounging for extra Scout parts (someone keeps coming over and "borrowing" things from my parts stash). I am bringing my 800 D30 up to make some needed changes and upgrades. I also bought three extra cans of black spray paint in case Davis some how is left alone with the axle for longer than five minutes. The boy is known to have the Midas touch..... Bob, do you still have a mig welder at the shop or do I need to bring mine? Might need to make a couple of tack welds. Post up if anyone needs any other tools to work on something this weekend, see what we can do to accomodate. See everyone this weekend!

I missed it too, got delayed coming back from Uvalde and wasn't home until 5pm.
Still wanting to talks sheet metal strategy with the HCB pros and meet folks in person. Not quite sure we are trail worthy yet, but probably signing up for the April get together. |

It was a good work day yesterday. Thanks again to Allen and Bob for letting us use the Yard for the meeting.
New member Sonny showed up to give a hand on my axle project and even scored some parts for his '77 Traveler while scrounging the yard. Tres gave his moral support and dictated what to do while Davis and I tried to make some head-way on my D30 project for the 800. Neil and Cooper even stopped by to check in and talk shop for awhile. I even found a good Distributor for Randy for his project. We worked at the yard till about 1:30 and then headed home to continue on some projects while still motivated. ![]() Big thanks to Davis and Tres for all the help back at the house. We were able to get alot accomplished yesterday and there was no way I could have done that myself. ![]() It was great seeing everyone yesterday that could make it and looking forward to the April get-together. Ziggy
