Default Np201

I have a 66 1100A pickup with a noisy NP201 transfer case. I am told internal parts for these are hard or impossible to find.

Is there someone who rebuilds these?

Has anyone done a swap to a NP205? Apparently there are parts for those?

Is there some other swap or repair solution?

Are you sure its a 201,most should be a 202.A 205 out of a newer IH will bolt in,have to do a little changing on the shifter.

You're right, it is a New Process 202. Any parts available? Any rebuilders out there? Upgradable to a divorced 205?
Thanks

Have tried Lester's Gear or Harmon 4WD? They are both pretty knowledgable.
And they're both in Tulsa.

Thanks very much. For the record, Lester Gear Said "No IH, Ford and Chevy Only, If it's IH, we don't want to see it."
Harmon was very helpful.

That's too bad about Lester's. Last time I delt with them was for tranny parts to rebuild a 727 Torqueflight. But I suppose that isn't a strictly IH application.
There is a junkyard in Sperry that, at one time, had several 4wd IH trucks. Don't know the status of those trucks now though.

Just a thought, have you tried Blumenthal's in OKC? They built a t-case for a 3/4 Dodge for me a couple years ago.

the 202 is generic transfercase they did put them in old ford's. the 202's are tougher than the 205's. gears are thicker in the 202.
