Default New guy from Clarksville, TN

I just joined and wanted to say hi. I'm a new owner of a '72 Scout II. Please keep me in mind for any get-togethers or IH functions. Also, looking for a new front axel to give myself some disc brakes and would like find a 727 trans. Thanks!

Welcome! What part of Tennessee are you in? I have an 1980 front axle with disc brakes that I am about to replace with one that matches my new rear axle. If you're willing to drive 100 miles west of Memphis it's yours for $200.00.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Clarksville which is on I-24 at the TN/KY state line. I found an awesome deal yesterday that will give me just about every part I need. I'm going to go pick it all up today. That should give me two complete running Scout II's. I might still need that axel though. I will post an update as soon as I have parts in hand. Thanks again!

Also, I think you guys might be right that the S.E. Binders might be closer. I'll post there as well.

I just picked up a very rough '75 Scout II today. The body isn't very good but it does have a good title. I bought it for the 345/auto drive train and the hardtop. I will be selling the 304 and the 3-speed plus the axles from my '72 if anyone is interested. I'm sure I'll have a bunch of parts left over if anyone needs anything. Thanks again!
