Default IH 6 two BBL manifold

I recently acquired a 66 1100 4x4 pickup. It has the 241 IH six. Part of the deal is an intake manifold for this engine that mounts a two BBL carb.

The bolt pattern is not for a Holly 2300 - not even close.

What carb was this designed for?

It doesn't matter doc, I want one!
You know what project it's for.

2 one barrels or 2 two barrels would be better.

I didn't measure it but it looks like 2 x 3.5 or thereabouts.
Yes Bill, when you get the EFI sorted out, I'll be adding that and maybe a turbo...

This manifold is configured for a single 2bbl carb.

I can do a simple TBI right now. It's the addition of the turbo/tuning that becomes the future project.

This manifold is configured for a single 2bbl carb.
The original carb was probably either a Carter WCFB or a Stromberg WW.

IIRC both used the same mounting pattern, and adapters are readily available to standard Holley or Weber 2bbl patterns.

The '90's Dodge V6 and V8 TBI units used a similar mounting pattern but I don't know just how close it actually is. A quick trip to the JY would answer that.

HTH,

It may be close to the dodge/holley 5.9 MPFI unit I used on the multiport 392.

May make things easier for the MPFI 264/265 with turbo later.

More than likely Doc it was a Holley 2110. At least that's what I've seen on the older IH 6's and what's in my '61 B120. A fine carburetor I do believe.
