2011 Binder Planet IH of the show winner.

IH Only North sponsored our inaugural Binder Planet IH of the show contest. Jeff Ismail also served as adviser to the Binder Planet judging committee. Jeff and IH Only thanks again for helping the Binder Planet to present this award.

This years winner was a 1970 1200 D 4X4. This truck has had only one owner. Mr and Mrs Allan Blakeman of Boone NC were the recipients of our award. This truck is simply off the chain in every way. The BP judging committee were down to 3 vehicles and we kept trying to find something wrong that would allow us to opt this truck out and we simply could not find it. All of the judges and Jeff crawled under this truck and it looked as good from beneath as it did from the top.

Mr and Mrs Blakeman, on behalf of all the members and staff of the Binder Planet, we say Congratulations. At the awards ceremony it became evident the BP judging committee had chosen correctly, the Blakemans walked home with 5 nationals awards.

That is one great looking truck and I really hope this isn't taken the wrong way, but I am kinda glad it wasn't a Scout II. There are lots of very nice Scout II's out there, but finding a great looking full size is getting harder and harder.

Carl. I dont think anyone will take that comment wrong. I think we sometimes cant see the forest for the trees at times, I am sure thats a lousy analogy, but IH made trucks for a lot longer than they ever made Scouts and we cant ever stick them on the back burner. I can tell you this truck rings all the bells and most of the whistles
