Default Scout 800 Door Lock Cylinder Removal

Scout 800
I need to replace the door lock cylinder on my scout. I have the square post part removed from the door, but I can't figure out how to get the actual cylinder out so that I can put a new one in. Any suggestions?

I bought the keys and locks in the link to replace the old ones.

Check with a locksmith. One should have a "master" key that can remove just the cylinder or core. It comes right out, and the new one goes in easy peasy.

Its alittle fun to do,in the pictures you have, the one shows the three parts that stick out with holes above them.In the middle hole(this is on pickups that use the same core,so yours should be the same) you should see a tab with a 1/2 circle cut out of it,you need to pull this toward the outside, the core should now slide partway out(this tab goes in the groove on the new cylinder)now in one of the other 2 holes you will need to push in each tab one at a time while pulling core out,I just did this 2 weeks ago.The other way is to drill the center out with a ssmall drill bit getting larger till the core falls to peices.
