Default Re: Lean until warm (more IAC issues?)

If you look at the spark advance log above you have a max of 7* at 2000 rpm and 95map.
WOT-wide open throttle.
The higher the map the more open the throttle.
The lower the map the more closed the throttle is.

Above 2000 you have errors.
This could be your data cable or your actual ignition wiring that is getting interference from some thing that it is running next to. Could be voltage/alternator wiring or the coil or coil wires.

The timing table is changed in the program as discussed in the FAQ's.
There are basic tables here for the ECM and the PCM which use 2 main tables.

Map at idle is dependent on the engine condition and cam.
See the number of counts in the log and it will tell you where the engine spends the most time.

Ok, great wave is over. Time to work outside again.

"Above 2000 you have errors....."
I'm trying to understand how you can tell that from the log.

I'm going to put that VSS in soon. But something I realized is that I can tell that it is going to pop before it pops. The engine sounds and feels labored, like its working against something. Then pop, and its free, until I step on it again at which point I may be ok for a while, or I might not.
