If I buy a Scout 800 with a full cab, will any Scout 800 half-cab top + bulkhead fit directly onto the Scout? Do any modifications need to be made to fit a half-cab onto a Scout which was made for a full-cab setup? Thanks in advance. |

direct bolt up. make sure you get a scout 800 half cab for an 800, not a 80 series

Jay what differences are there in the scout 80 and 800 half cabs?
I thought the first and second year of production had the fixed bulkhead but after that I thought there weren't any differences? |

63 and 64 scout 80 and 800 tops and bulkheads are the same.I have an 800 1/2 top and full top on my 64 80.The earlier 80s the tops bolted onto a flange that stuck out front of the windsheild frame(the bolts went up into the top.The later tops bolted from the inside down into the windsheild frame. The only difference I have found between late 80 and 800 is the 80 tops where cit to go around the vacume wiper motors, the tops do not need this, just makes it easier to put on.

i got a 63 80 and picked up a 800 full top and had to drill a couple holes in windshield flange but it was no big deal...even had all the holes in the rear fenders for the full top. Good luck!

There is a bolt hole difference. There are 5 bolt holes and 7 bolt holes.
I put a 800 half cab on my 63 scout 80 that had a full top.
