Looking for an electric fan?
Try a Ford Taurus fan ~17" IIRC and moves a ton of air. Two speeds. The high speed draws a bunch of amps so you'll need a good relay ( I used a 30A on the low side and a 70A on the high side)

Another good one: Jeep Grand Cherokee ~19":

Both can usually found on ebay for around $60. Or check your local junkyard.

Not sure if there is some kind of reverse lock-out that is messed up or what.
Regardless of the reverse problem, I pushed it out of the shop and took it for a short drive. It's a little sluggish off the line but not just terrible. I got it up to about 65 mph I'm guessing and it was nice and smooth. If I can get the reverse figured out and finish the wiring I should have it on the road soon. I'll post some pics later.
I had a similar issue when I did my swap. I the donor F250 had trouble shifting into reverse. The clutch was pretty worn out and I don't think it was disengaging properly. When I did my swap, I changed the clutch and it shifts fine, now.

Did you change the clutch? Have you tried double clutching to see if that helps shifting into reverse? Is your new shifter the correct part? Did it shift with the old one?

I hope you get it sorted, that will be an awesome Travelette with the 6BT

The clutch looked great so I left it alone. It shifted into reverse before I changed the top plate. I'm still thinking I have some sort of lock-out issue with the shifter. I've got a call into a guy that is a getrag expert and maybe he will have some words of wisdom as well. I appreciate the advice.

Just a few shots to share where I'm at. Excuse the random wires laying everywhere, I haven't started on the engine wiring yet. I also have the heater hoses run in a temporary configuration as I'm trying to locate new heater tubes and a mount that were originally on the Cummins. My new heater valve also won't be in until tomorrow. I like the way the intake ended up but I do need to find some type of latchable strap to mount to the fender to hold it down.

I'd take a look at the installation of the top plate/shifter, maybe swap the old one back on?

I've about decided you're right. I was really looking at anything else first just because it is a big ole pain to drop the rear of the tranny down to pull the top plate off. It will probably be saturday before I get to it but that's the next step. With the exception of the taking off and putting on I bet it ends up being something simple. I hope so because I haven't experienced anything much cooler than driving that thing around the other day. I'll keep you updated.

The shift forks hang down too low to clear the casing when you pull it out and the tunnel access isn't wide enough to bring it straight up. I have to drop out the rear crossmember and let the tranny drop about four inches to get them to clear. Even at that it's a two person operation.
I've got a buddy coming to help this weekend.

Well I solved the shifting problem. It was a bushing on the 5th/reverse rail that had slipped off at assembly or some point and was stopping the shaft from going up far enough to engage the reverse. My buddy and I pulled it apart and got it back together. Shifts great...except...I kept the old Dodge slave cylinder and its seal gave out about half a mile from the house during the test drive. Easy fix but just a pain in the butt. The other problem I found today is a leak between the fuel manifold and fuel pump body; so yet another thing to take care of before I get to the wiring.

I installed the new slave cylinder and ordered in a kit for the injector pump. Took it out for a spin yesterday and it ran really nice. One thing I've been avoiding is the 4x4 shifter linkage. This truck was originally a 2wd. The PO had done most of the conversion but he had never installed the linkage. I posted up in the tech section asking for photos of the linkage. Of course thanks to the great BP folks I quickly got photos and questions answered about the shifting of a NP202.
I ended up cuting down the original mounting bracket and adding some tabs on it to mount to the top of the Getrag. The big cast shifter is too tall and would intefere with the under dash A/C so I cut it down and welded on the top of an old shifter I had sitting around from something else. The end result is a "shorty" 4x4 shifter. It is reachable from the driver's seat and clears the A/C. The stock shift boot still works and the will cover all but the top of the shifter and the knob (if I can find one). Since I moved the TC back I had to add 18 inches to the linkage. I got it all slapped in and it shifts nice and smooth. I added a few pics. Don't judge the ugly welds and finsih on the bracket. Hopefully it's never above the floorboard again.

There was a shorter shifter that was round bar and bent to the drivers side over the hump.I have only seen them in travelalls with a/c ,If I can find mine I will get some pictures.
