2011 Dixie Regionals in Charlotte NC

Hey guys, I haven't been active on here in a while, I didn't think I was going to make it this weekend but just got back in town, so I will be there tomorrow to drop in, My scout is back in good running shape but I am looking for someone local to weld in some body mounts and maybe do some other work that I Can't get to, to make her road worthy. So If you know someone, that deals with welding and rusty metal, point them my way, I don't know if i will try to brave the 12 minute drive to the speedway in the scout or not. (may have ruined my accelerator pedal, so I will be pulling a cable by hand if I bring it ) I didn't know if I was going to make it so, I didn't register or anything. Think I could still park there tomorrow if I bring it?

The Auction was good but the Auctioneer trio of Bruce and JG was not complete without JJ, you were missed sir!

I really enjoyed seeing All the Scouts down there yesterday. I got a lot of great ideas for my rig. Unfortunately, I couldn't hang out there long or get to meet many folks. I brought the family and they aren't as enthused as I haha. But, I will say the AutoFair was great and the weather held out.

I was fortunate enough to meet Nick Dillon who had a beautiful 1971 Scout II
and has done many of the mods I hope to do.

Thanks to everyone who came out and showed off there IH rigs.

I'm tellin' ya! I got about 15 minutes west of the speedway Saturday evening and hit some 3/4" hail. There were hot rods packed up under all the overpasses. I bet a few 10k paint jobs got ruined. Hope none of our crew had too much trouble.

Other than all that... Had a great time with everybody.

Hey guys. Sorry I couldn't make it by on Saturday. I had an incredibly busy weekend inside the Auto Fair. I regret that I wasn't able to make it. I did get to meet many IH guys and enjoyed talking with them.

Maybe next time.
