I bought it off Earl Culley, in Burley. He was on here one night during chat, and I happened upon both his(the blue one), and Will Marshes' at the same time. Earl's needed tires to make the trek back to STL. Engine is a 392(the only 392 engine in a truck I have owned), 727 Automatic, A/C-Factory, and it is setup for towing, except for a hitch and the associated tow wiring. It has the auxiliary tranny cooler. PS, PB, and it has lowback bucket seats with the center console. It has 99, 980 original miles, and will be turning over after the snow and salt are long gone from the winter. It will eventually get the rust taken care of, hence why we don't drive it at all during the winter. I had tires shipped to Earl, he had them put on as part of the deal, and I made a three day trip back home, stopping at Will's for the second night of the trip. Drove straight and true, and even Earl liked the tires I had put on it. I have the original wheels, and hubcaps, and I got the original window sales ticket, lineset ticket, and as a bonus, a business card sized original ID title(with the full-size one too). Took it to Nationals this past year. And it is the only one to date that either loaded or empty gets 11mpg consistant. Love it and Melissa needs to put some more time on it. Now back to the thread already in progress, I am enjoying the pics and stories.

Jeff

My junk (71' 1110) when I first bought it.... It looks a little different now with about 6" of lift and the 37's.

I know that there is one more like mine at least.

There are rumors about it's construction, none of them provable. I have the truck because of its rarity, and I like dually's.

The flares appear custom made.

Ricka Mfg. used to make a dually conversion kit, and I have a friend who has one on her 72 1210 4x4.

The difference being hers uses wheel spacers for the dual kit and mine is a factory dually rear axle, her wheel flares are screwed onto the bed and mine are fabbed out of the IH bed with a lot of custom welding. I have the original Lineset for this truck, and it was ordered as shown except it was originally glacier blue in color. The truck was shipped to a custom outfit (shown on lineset) that did the bed work.

That is all I know.
