Made it home about 1:00am, then up at 6:00 for Leona to go to work------------LONG DAY. Tom the Tette worked flawlessly, just a bit of fuel, but it crused right along at 70mph even with the scout in tow. I will speek with S&J again today and see what there time frame is I would guess late next week, that will give me a some time to get a few airport issues cleared out of my shop.

I did end up purchasing this rear PTO. The unit I really wanted is / was a Ramsey unit (the one I purchased and shipped to Robert never made it to his garage). Turns out IH dealers usually put in Ramsey or Muncie units. The picture of a Ramsey unit is pictured here and found currently on Craiglist here: http://nmi.craigslist.org/atd/3221743190.html

I hope to go to Nationals next year with the Muncie PTO installed ... and maybe I'll bring along my Apple grinder and press and run it off of a flat belt pulley mounted to the PTO ... fresh Cider for the Hampton after party picnic!!

I enjoyed the show ... learned a lot and met some great friends. One thing that I saw was an IH Scout 1932 Ford Model A Phaeton replica-4 seater, factory built Glassic. I thought the only fiberglass Replicars were the 1914 Stutz. Pictured here is one at the show (it was in the for sale corral ... probably should have been with the Internationals). I think they wanted $9K. Here is another one for sale: http://largo-fl.americanlisted.com/c..._22513833.html

Tony I received your engine last Friday, I got the engine removed from the Scout. I also got the long block all built today so I have my helper in the AM and plan on installing it. Plan is to get all done up tomorrow then spend a few days running it around and getting it ready for to ship by next week. I told Tom to see if he can find a load this way, if not we can arrange shipping. Give me a call when you can and I will get you updated.

Round Four Tony the motor is in and runs fine no knocks, good oil pressure and zero leaks.

I had a discussion with Tony I never got to see this Scout run or drive before tare down, so motor is in and the Scout has no reverse I bought a new to me transmission from John Fleck BCB, shows it will be here tomorrow, so I will get it swapped out ASAP. I have my trucker buddy here tonight so he will help get it together so we can get it to Tony.

Here are so fun pictures

Tony I have done as you wanted on this truck at every turn and this will be yours to deal with, I think until you sort it out you will need to go with an aftermarket wheel. I had a very hard time driving the truck, just no place to put your legs and operate the peddles. You do have lots of belly room though.

Wahoo drove the Scout around last night. Four gears forward, one reverse, power steering works great, and no leaks or surprises. It loads today headed East

Pictures to come..........

OK this one is headed for PA. I ran into a few issues, I did my best and this is a very nice Scout that will need a little TLC but should make Tony a great truck.

Tom brought it to me a long time ago and then today as he left with it. Scout was over budget and over the time limit but it sure looks like a million bucks, good luck with it Tony I truley hope you enjoy years of motoring with it.
