Default TBI no fuel to injectors

I am having trouble troubleshooting my tbi conversion in my 1950 truck. I pulled out a complete 350/700r with the harness and all. I have everything wired up so that it will run and now I am getting no fuel out of the injectors. It runs well if you pour fuel into the intake. The serv. no. is 16168625 and the four letters are BDJU. I also have a truck with a BJLF computer that I swapped out to make sure my computer is good. I have checked all the grounds, relays, sensors, etc. multiple times. I have an aftermarket TBI inline fuel pump that was wired into the fuse block. I am getting plenty of fuel to the injectors. I am getting no power to the injectors. I know the red and white wires are to be 12 volt with key in run and start. The ground wires are also not pulsing coming from the computer. Coil is good and working. Furthermore i am getting nothing from the crank sensor. Everything was working perfectly when it was pulled.

Also replaced the icm and cleaned up the distributor. Bottom ecm numbers are
86bdjuk223426026. I am wondering if I need the power relay seems like the computer isnt allowing the injection system to fire. When I first fired the truck it started for about half a second. At first I thought some fuel was left in the intake, but I feel like now that the computer shut down from lack of info. Maybe becuse of no factory fuel pump info?

OK we need to start at the beginning and not "assume" anything you have done is correct.
if everything was connected like it should be then the system would run.

So you have to be willing to drop that notion and be willing to start from scratch.

As mentioned in the PM's the system will not fire the injectors until there is a valid tach signal from the distr to the ECM.
You also mention a crank sensor. I don't know of any of these systems using a crank sensor so maybe you should take a pic of that and post it or look in the parts required FAQ and match the pics there.

Also discussed was the 12v at the injectors. The question is, do you have 12v in the key on and during cranking?

Here is the wiring diagrams with the individual voltage checks for key on and engine running.

As for the fuel pump...it is turned on by the ecm when it's gets the tach signal.
But you don't have it connected to the ecm. So everything is not connected like it was in the original truck. This won't keep it from running but I feel the system should be connected like it was intended.

So verify the parts and verify the wiring with voltage checks.
Then post the results.

You must have the correct 12v from the battery on the red and orange wires and 12v in key on and start to the pink/blk stripe wires.

Starting from scratch! I have no power to the injectors. The part in question is the knock sensor. I will get busy in the morning.
Thanks,
Robbie

Ok, so I spent probably six hours on this page last night. 10 hours total yesterday. Started from scratch and went through the entire step by step fuel injection page. Apparently I didnt have the whole wiring system. There was a clear plug pigtail that I had already ran into my truck. It had the pink/black wire and the injector power wires. I hooked them up to 12 volt with key on and first hit started right off. I have some other readings to get here and Ill be back on. Lots of info here and its easy to miss stuff. Thanks Bill and I will keep you posted on the progress.

Keep in mind that the step by step is for the 1227747 ECM.
The wire colors for your will be about the same but you need to confirm the wires with the wiring diagrams i linked to you that are in the FAQ's.
I recommend you physically trace each wire from the PCM to the sensor or source it is supposed to connect to.

There are some colors that are used more than once and if you connect the wrong signal to them you will let the smoke out and then it will never run right.

Very good. I will be sure to double check. I am also going to go through and check the volt readings to make sure everything is good to go. I am also excited to try some of your tuning tips. Ill check back tomorrow.
