$350 with new starter and new fuel pump. It has Pertronix and the carb was overhauled 2 years ago. Running 15W40 Delo

Still in the Trav so it can be test driven once I get the 304 out of the back.

Would consider other parts I need in part trade.
ie: I need to find a '68ish 4x4 for the engine/trans mounts to put my IH 304 and BW auto in.

FOUND: 4 Scout 80’s at Pick-N-Pull located at 111th & SE Foster, Portland Or.

Anyone in Portland who is looking for Scout 80 stuff, visit Pick-N-Pull in SE Portland. There are 4 in all, and they are all located in the NW corner of the lot (far back portion of the lot). These Scouts are no longer complete, but they have all their running gear. One of them had such good floor boards I almost puked. Glass looked good in many of them, window rollers on one unit worked like new. The tops had a few dents but did not look rotten or trashed. Doors worked and all were missing their handles. Interiors were mostly complete with gauges (sort of bad chrome but faces and needles looked good. Two or three of them had their bench seats and the frames looked great. All the Scouts still had their transfer cases and transmissions. I don’t recall how complete the motors were. Axles were intact. Front grills were in great condition.

1. Still has all running gear and twin stick Dana T-Case. Doors, top, gauges all looked OK.

2. Still has running gear & twin stick Dana T-case. Doors, top look good, surface rust. Bench seat frame in good shape.

3.Still has running gear & twin stick Dana T-case. Doors were in good shape, all glass, top fine, most interior, tail gate looks good.

4. Still has running gear. Locking hubs missing, steering wheel missing. Gauges look good, chrome bad, full top looks good, cant recall about rear hatch.

Hope someone will be able to use something from them. I got a kick *** steering wheel, NO CRACKS $15.99, also go a great turning indicator bezel and tail light lenses which were not badly faded. Thinking about grabbing a top.

FYI - I dont work for this bone yard. I just happend to be looking for something for a different project...it was a nice day so I checked the entire place out and couldnt believe my eyes. Had to take picks and let others know about it.

I have a 77 diesel scout for sale that runs and drives great. Engine and body are in very good shape with minimal rust. The engine is actually a Chrysler/Nissan 6cyl diesel. 4.09 gears. Good full soft top and bikini top. No hard top.
I currently have the body panels removed to bump out a few dents and to repaint, the previous owner used rattle can paint over the entire scout. It is a great time to see just how little rust there is. Located in Tacoma, WA 253-761-7937
