Hey all, Sully here and I just acquired a virtually rust free 1960 Travelall 4X4, which I will be heading out to Lincoln, Nebraska to pick up next weekend.
![]() In an attempt to curb some of my anxiety, just lofting out an inquiry as to who else out there has one as I know I'll have a few questions. Manuals and LST will be forthcoming. I still have my SII to finish, but this will be next on the list and will have a hopefully faster track than my first project. So anyone acclimated to these beauties who wouldn't mind answering a few questions in the coming months, please post up. Here is what I know so far; PPO had a Ford 460 w/C6 for drivetrain, (engine now gone, tranny will go, all-IH drivetrain going back in). Reportedly has history of being used as a school bus in Northern Colorado. Has wooden rear deck. First couple of questions; ![]() Was the rear deck wooden from factory? Can anyone Identify axles from pictures? Were the 6-lug Bud ring wheels stock? Is the rear bench in the pics stock? Would love to see any pics you may have or know of for reference going forward. I'm just getting started and as always, am grateful for the ensight folks here have offered so freely. ![]() Thanks in advance. Link; http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/s...d.php?t=111108
