It is missing bits and has no windscreens etc, so I would like to know I can get parts before I get my heart set on it. In QLD Australia. |

Looks like a C1500, just not sure of the year.

That is a truck that is unique to down under I believe it is an AD 1300. When we got the all new for (late) 1969 D series the Aussies kept using the same cab and hung that new sheet metal on the front. The windshield and other cab related stuff should be interchangeable with the AC series trucks.

Thanks for the replies, I had google image searched for about 4 hours and come up with nothing, then stumbled across the Australian site ten minutes after I posted on here.
I can save it from being squished for a princley sum of $300.00, so I was going to do it anyway! Got some silly ideas for this truck, I want a oldschool worktruck with small hydraulic crane, and the new trucks are just too expensive and have no character, then I saw this beauty and thought, the missus is going to flip out when I bring this home! Im thinking cummins B6T, auto and full airbags, and if i can get enough info and a wreck cheap enough the late model trucks have independent front ends...... May upset the purists? but unmodified just doesnt suit me ![]() AC series have a more 60's style front on them from what I can tell, maybe a swap is on the cards too. Thanks again guys |

A liitle inspiration for you.
Here is my 1956 travelall on a 2007 ford expedition frame with 4 wheel independant suspension and 4wd. I run the Cummins 6bt with the dodge 47rh overdrive automatic. I run 2 tanks. 1 for diesel and the other for WVO for the long trips.

In partnership with Dodge? Haven't heard that before. IH had a complete build, sell, service network in Oz.
Where did you hear that? - No hostile inquiry intended, just want to know.

I believe a Dodge factory in Australia was contracted to build the cabs for several of the International trucks sold there.
