Default Tool box ideas

Currently my scout (800) is without a top. As we all know with any vehicle it's handy to have a few of the basic tools with you to save a ton of money on a tow bill. Which brings me to my problem. I want some sort of tool box that will fit in the bed directly behind the seats that I can store my smaller tool box with tools in it as well as some spare oil, coolant ect. And can be bolted down and locked

Just wondering of anyone has run across anything that works for the same purpose without building one. I have the skills to build one no problem, just not the equipment such as a decent welder.

Thanks for any input in advance.

This was behind a 1/2 cab on my 80. Fits perfect.

I picked up this one at a Walmart several years ago.

Does this set up on the bed rails or the fender wells because I have a show bar in the way if it sets on the bed rails.

I'll see if I can find anything on it. I only know that I happened to see it in a Walmart in their RV section. If I can find any info on it, I will let you know. It fit perfectly between the inner walls with about 1/2-3/4" to spare on each side. I drilled holes through the bottom and bolted it to the floor with stiffeners underneath the floor. I mounted with the latch/lock toward the rear and it opens to the rear. When I bought it, I had a full top on the Scout, but wanted to leave room for a back seat.

Northern Tool has a variety of options for p/u boxes, trailer boxes, etc.

The aluminum tool box shown in my post above was made by Dawn MFG, P/N 62012329, model number CRTC36. Size is 36"x20" by 19" High. I didn't find an address, just a sticker with the above info on inside of lid.

Found a company called DAWS, which manufactures boxes similar to the above.

Thanks for all the ideas fellas. I got some time off today and made it to TSC and they have one that will fit perfect. I don't know why I didn't think of them before and i won't have to pay shipping which will save some money as well.
