Default Bd264

Will a BD264 2bbl intake bolt on to a BD240?

Just curious about fitment as I would like to convert my 240 to a 2bbl.

Thanks

I don't think so but I don't really know. There was a 2bbl intake manifold for the 220, 241 and 265 engines. I have the only one I have ever seen - soon to be mounted on my 66 4x4 PU's 241.

Here's a good hint: I have both 240(1bbl) and 264(2bbl) engines, and both of them use the same part # exhaust manifold(79 129). That makes the bolt pattern the same, and I seriously doubt that the intake ports are different sizes. The odds are probably not long that the heads are the same part # as well. No time to go looking through the parts books right now! 8^)
