Nice work. I wish I had seen this thread when I started mine. It would have been nice to see exactly what I was getting into when I did mine. Course If I knew I might not have done it. Ive really got to get mine done now.
I know its old know but I had the jack stands on the frame where the frame bends up to the engine compartment. When I cut the rocker out on the pas side it let the firewall lean forward to the point that my doors would not open and when I got them open they were so forward that they would not shut. The door catch was hitting the end of the striker pin.I moved my jack stands under the axle and it straighten it a back out.

Just messing around with a piece of metal for this section that still needs to be repaired....
a little more trimming along the curved area and I think it will be good to go........

It has been a very long time since I have thrown any photos up on this thread. So here goes.....the floor is complete....so I am moving onto the passenger side inner and outer rear quarter panel gussets & the rocker extension....

I have a question about inner gusset. The two tabs are hitting the top and bottom sections of the center body mount. Do I bend the tabs #1 & #2 that I marked just like the larger middle tab??? Or do I bend them the other way? Third option, just cut them off....????

Thoughts, comments, or opinions.....???

I just replaced the carb on the Scout....I must say that it is running pretty good now.

I figured that I would pull the oil pan to replace the gasket. When I was draining the oil
I noticed that it was not a thick as most engine oil. I let some run over my fingers and it smelled like gasoline. Any ideas what caused this issue???? Thanks.
