No. I'm lazy. That will be what I do next. I figures it just got singed at the ignition switch and it still had continuity, so I didn't mess with it. I know...

As far as starting on it's own, maybe a sloppy or loose ignition switch?

The same shop that got the starter for you should be able to fix the 'start by itself' problem.
