Default Banjo bolt needed

Does any one know where I can get 1 banjo bolt for the front caliper? I know of the vendors on-line and nothing against them but I do not see spending 9 dollars for the bolt minus crush washers and then any where between 7 and 10 dollars for shipping, what makes me mad is the part could be put in a envelope and mailed for the cost of a stamp. I found one in the help section at autoprts store but it looks a little long (7/16 x 24). So after that I was wondering if any one knows a part numberfor one that I can get from an auto supplier of fastner company. Possibley one from another truck that will work (If I remember right one off a bronco might work)

Well, if you don't want to pay a supplier, start spending time in the salvage yards.

Well that might have came out a little different then what I really was trying to get across.

I have no problem spending money but was really needing a cross refrence number so my local vendors could get. I deal with some every day and they could just get on their truck next day or two and no extra money just price of bolt. That can also go for my local auto part stores.

What kind of parts stores do you have that can't look up a banjo bolt for a caliper?

We keep these banjo bolts in stock. If you call us to place the order we will be glad to ship US Postal service upon request. All you have to do is call to place the order instead of relying on what the online store tells you cost will be which is via UPS.

Well I have autozone, napa, advance, o-rileys, and a local named abc I go in and ask the kids they then look at me and say what is that. I explain then they point me to the help section.

Several sizes of Banjo Bolts are out there, SAE & Metric:

Banjo Bolt - GM Caliper 66-78 7/16"- 20 TPI
Banjo Bolt - GM Caliper 79-99 10mm x 1.5 TPMM
Banjo Bolt - Early Ford / Jeep 3/8"- 24 TPI
Banjo Bolt - Mustang II / Jeep up to 79 7/16" - 24 TPI
Banjo Bolt - 10mm x 1.0 TPMM
Banjo Bolt - 10mm x 1.25 TPMM

Apparently the Scout II utilizes the 7/16" x 24 TPI, same as the Mustang II & Jeeps up to 1979.
