Default KB3 Build

Hey guys and gals,,, I'm new here ,, just wanted to share the progress on my KB3, we're doing an engine swap to get the ole' girl up to speed ,(46 mph is too slow) , everything else about the truck will remain original. We dropped a 5.0 Ford with an AOD , the motor is stock , it just looks pretty ,, LOL

Default Re: KB3 Build

Looks good.
I got a 2007 40K mile 5.4 auto 4wd package setting on my floor just waiting for a new home!
The frame/suspension are under my 54 travelall. The old SD 6 just couldn't keep up on the highways so I went diesel.

DQ
Sweet truck! I built one about 10 years ago and it took me 5 years to build. I had Fatman IFS, chevy 283, 700r4, 9" rear, AC, Electric windows, Power steering, Etc. I miss it some times, but when they use to say; mama and daddy with the baby up front and kids in the back, their was a reason? Them 'ol trucks are small and I was (is) a big boy and didn't fit to well. Here's a few pic's.
