Any hints on replacing the cam/switch? I know I've got to pull the wheel, compress the spring to get the c-clip off and then assume keep digging. Anything I need to watch out for? Thanks. Brian |

its fairly straight forward..only caution is get the correct steering wheel puller and do not use a hammer..the biggest issue with the wheel is if IH had only drilled a short hole in the shaft it would have helped..the shaft itself is soft so any hammer will destroy it..nutin really to this this..your biggest issue can be the pack-con connector and trying to isolate why the new switch aint working worth a darn (it will be the purple wire connector in the pack con)...

power feed..the pack-con can give you fits..took me a week to finally get TS working..went so far as to bench test new switch (good)..old switch (good) so it finally ended up being a what the heck?...chances are if you still have any failures it will be in the pack-con and it can be frustrating repair
