Default Re: 3 more choices for MPFI manifolds

I'm still finalizing the small parts and the "tune" for a complete MPFI kit.
I just wanted to get the big parts out there for the guys that want to do it themselves.

I have the manifolds, fuel rails, distributors, and the wiring harness for the MPFI system.

I'm sourcing injectors and small parts to complete the system and then need to develop a tune that is compatable with most IH motors like i did with the TBI.
There's just a little bit of difference in the tuning!

I can't release it as a kit until I know it's right.

As others have found out, it's hard to recover from a bad reputation in this community.

I think i have alot of bindernuts behind me when i say you do an incredible amount of R&D for the binder comunity. Looking forward to your MPI kit. (it's not as easy to build it here in Norway, from scratch)

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! and a happy easter

I am also on my revision 1 of my custom tailored MPFI harness. These are designed to match the port configuration of the manifold by splitting the injector firing.
The batch fire of the injectors match the dual plane design by firing the outside injectors on one bank with the inside injectors on the opposite bank.
If you follow the ignition firing order you will find that it also switches from one plane of the manifold to the other.

When designing this harness I felt this would be better then the easier bank to bank design that most harnesses provide.

If we had some high rpm open plenum designed manifold then it wouldn't matter. But we have nice low rpm, high torque engine.

The manifolds are $200 exchanged plus shipping.
The matching -6 (3/8) fuel rails are $125 a pair plus shipping.

I'm finalizing the harness and will post the price when complete as well as a complete system price.

Im sure there is going to be someone who complains about the price, but seriously,200 for that work and 125 for the rails is an absolute steal. Awesome work, and a bargain, what more could someone ask for!

Thanks,
I'm sure if I had my own bridgeport i could do these cheaper but when I have to ship a 61lb manifold it's $50. Doesn't leave a lot for the machinist or me.

I really don't make much on the EFI stuff. I just figured it would be better to provide the product then have guys go with a company they don't know and who doesn't have our passion for this stuff.

I'm all to aware that you could go buy a junkyard chevy and stick it in the IH just like the jeep guys do. I'm just trying to update the old 600lb IH to make it a little more modern and user friendly.

That awesome i can't wait to give one a try and really if you get a complaint about that price. These are the people that want everything for nothing anyway. I just hope you can afford to keep the price where it is.
