Hi all!

I have owned many Scouts in the past but this will be my first serious overhaul. This is probably going to be a slow build because im going to have to figure everything out as I go along. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I absolutely love the IH community and Im proud to be a part of it

Soooo "Stampy" is a 1971 800B 304/t98/d20 its a pretty nice little rig. Almost no rust. Its even got power steering! Yay one less thing to do

A couple months ago I took a flight out to Eugene and drove it back home to Tacoma about 250 miles. Half way home it started leaking a lot of oil from the valley pan and fuel pump.

I started digging into the engine a bit to replace the seals but then I found a newly rebuilt 304/t18/d20 twin stick. The motor has an aluminum 4bbl, and a mild cam. I got a screamin deal on the package so back to Eugene I went to pick it up..... almost anytime I buy something IH it comes from Oregon I think I might have to move there.


Short term goals:
Swap in new motor/trans/tcase
Rust repair
New paint

and maybe...
D44's
SOA + 2.5" springs
Reverse Shackle
35's

Long Term:
High steer
Lockers front/rear
Better roll cage
Soft top
Corbeau seats
