Default PTO Winch

I removed the winch from a S80 with the drive shafts. Since I'm going to sell it, I probably need to also remove the shift lever also.

What do I need to do to get the drive housing off. If there is a plate that bolts back on in its place, I don't have one, so that may be a proiblem.

Looking for some ideas as to what is involved while the TC is still installed.

Unbolt it and either bolt on the standard block off plate or make one out of a piece of sheet metal.

I don't know what transfer case you have, but when I took mine off of my NP205 when I got it, I just went to the junk yard and grabbed one off of a Ford.

if your talking about the plate that goes in place of the pto, there are onlt a couple different ones, most likely you have a 6 bolt, ant truck shop should be able to get you one, or a body upfitter would have them as take offs.

Are you talking about the PTO on the rear of a Scout 80 t/c?
