Default How I spent my weekend....

Or at least part of it anyway. Did a run and picked up another parts truck Terra in IL, this one has a complete Western plow setup with a 7' blade along with glass rear quarters, which I need for the Terra I'm picking up this coming weekend that will be the body donor for my plow truck. Pretty dead around here, so I thought I'd post up something anyway, to get things drummed up! Now I have to work on the plow truck, sounds like we're going to get hammered in the next couple of days. Not 'hammered' as in the way DC got hammered, but a foot at least with lots of blowing and drifting, which is bad enough. Anyway, this is the jewel that followed me home Saturday.....

You should bring it down here and make some money, over 21 inches and 6 to 8 more on the way, most roads are not touched yet in the neighbor hood.

Not that one! Plates expired in 03, and it has less driver's floor left than the one I'm plowing with now, and I thought IT was bad. I am tempted to try to fire it up once the weather breaks just to see if it runs, it's just a 304 anyhow and it's not likely anybody will want it, but I'd like to see if it runs. Supposedly (as in most Scouts) 'it ran when it was parked'! But I bet if I threw a battery in it and a boat gas tank in the bed, I could pay for it in a couple of hours in your neighborhood....we're supposed to get 8 to 12 inches in the next couple of days, except downwind of Lake Michigan (which is me) that might get 'significantly more'....
