I am pretty sure this one will not be done before Nationals but hopefully my other '77 will.

On a good note, I managed to get the title to this one today in the mail. I did a search and came up with the last registered owner, tracked him down and he helped me fill out the duplicate title application via mail. Now I just need to take the title and have him sign it over and this '77 SSII will be legally all mine ...

Just a little detective work and a phone call really, that was the hardest part but thankfully the PO has been very helpful. I did have to cough up for a few postage stamps to mail the form to the PO for his signature and for him to mail it back to me to send to the DMV and a check for $2. Now I have a certified duplicate copy I will take to him sometime here in the next few weeks to sign and then I will send it all back to the DMV again for the title in my name, non-op of course.
