Default International Harvester 340 - Stuck Glow plug

After completely unscrewing a glow plug i can't pull it out?

I have read that sometimes glow plugs can corrode and swell after a while under the elements. This tractors has been sitting in those elements for a few years, so this might be the case.

Any ideas on how to remove it without removing the precombustion chamber from the whole cylinder head?

Thanks

Side note:
Also, anyone find it funny/scary that some harmless honey bees/wasps are nesting through a hole located around the gearbox which is saturated with oil and they still survive?

oh, and found traces of mud on a couple other glow plugs removed from further down the four cylinder engine. Hopefully this doesn't mean the insects have penetrated the system via that hole and that a part is possiblying missing.

I have had success squzing 1/8 inch aluminum around the glow plug with a vice grips. The soft aluminum forms threads around the glow plug and you can screw it out. Other wise there are a verity of removal tools and half nuts for sale. you just have to get one that matches the thread. Good luck
