Also, these vendors are just recommendation of where to start looking. However the BEST place to start looking is the Vendor forums on this page. After all, the vendors on this site make it possible for all of us to have this great resource, visit them and show your support of them and this board. What better place to find IH specific stuff then the guys out there selling it everyday, spending time and money developing new products for the trucks we love!! IH Specific Vendor Forums Blue Torch Blue Torch Fabworks - Carries a large selection of brackets, mounts, link parts, rod ends, and other suspension and fab components. Ruff Stuff Specialties Ruff Stuff Specialties-Offer a wide array of fab components, including Scout specific items. These items are also available through TracTracTor Offroad Speedway Motors Speedway Motors – Just about everything you could possibly want, or dream of wanting. While Speedway is more oriented towards the hot rodders and circle track racers, they carry many MANY parts that are easily cross over to our type of sport. My personal preference is to get a catalog from them and thumb though it, just noting what they carry, so I have it in my mind while working. Invest a couple of hours one evening and see what they carry, you’ll be glad you did. Interco Tire Cosmetic Blems Interco Tire – We all know the great tires from Interco, but here is a link to their “blems” section. Tires have “cosmetic” damage only effecting their appearance, but they are offered at a cut rate price. Pay attention to quantity on hand before you get you heart set to order. Zirgo Zirgo – Electric fan manufacture who makes a myriad of fans, in various width’s and depths. Great source when an electric fan is needed for a custom application. Also a source for temperature switches, collapse proof radiator hoses and more. 12 Volt Guy 12 Volt Guy – If you need switch panels, LEDs, winch install kits, shift knobs with buttons wired in and just about anything else 12V for your custom application start here. He also does custom work, very nice custom work form what I have seen. EZ Wire EZ-Wire - Recommended numerous times on the board and the people I know who have used them before love them. Cheaper the Painless, but just as good. Cope Racing Transmissions or A&A Trans Cope Racing Transmissions or A&A Transmissions – Both are manufactures of aftermarket performance transmission parts for automatic transmissions. Very knowledgeable about the 727 and produces many aftermarket parts to make your 727 truly bullet proof. UHMW Source Online Metals – I haven’t looked too much into what this site has to offer, but the link above will take you to their page for UHMW plastics. If you are unfamiliar with UHMW, it’s what you white plastic kitchen cutting boards are made of. The material is great, as it is light, strong and not that expensive. The use of it as a skid plate material originated on the buggy side of things, but with the proper back it should be easily used in any application. EDIT-7/21/06 If you're looking for UHMW sources, don't discout your local plastic suppliers. If you are in or near a large city chances are you have a local distributor of some sort. I went with Port Plastics and saved about 100 bucks and would have saved more if I had called them and had them precut the pieces. I can't speak for any of the other branchs, but I was treated very well here in Tigard. FUEL INJECTION FORUM! Bill USN-1 Fuel Injection Circus!! - Okay it isn't a circus, but if you need to find information on Fuel injecting you International, this is the place to start. There is tons of information and hours of reading, so sit back and learn. This is just a short list that I will expand on as I find site that look interesting. Please don’t take this as a testament to the service or quality of products from these businesses, the only ones I have specifically dealt with were Cope Racing and Speedway Motors and I have great service from both. Also, please remember that we have IH vendors out there to do more of the modified stuff for our rigs, D&C is a sponsor of the board, so don’t forget about them. Once again, this is just to open your eyes to what is out there. I hope you all find it useful. Let me know if you have any questions, or would like to add a site to the list.
